Webnavix leases 4000 square feet of office space in which 2 fully self-contained server rooms are housed. One server room is setup solely for network equipment while the other server room houses servers for local and overseas customers. Each server room has 2 full working alarm systems and a full network surveillance system which can be viewed live from anywhere in the world.
Network Monitoring
In addition to monitoring the movement of people throughout the data center, we monitor our equipment and network at the Network Operations Center (NOC). Our experienced NOC personnel utilize sophisticated tools to monitor network utilization, latency, packet loss, as well as service availability and respond immediately to resolve potential issues so that service is uninterrupted. These tools continually probe and transact with network resources on timed intervals to test their availability and responsiveness. If a failure or degradation does occur our monitoring solution automatically notifies administrators and initiates recovery procedures.
Server Details
Our production servers are housed in a dust free climate controlled environment. Each server is monitored 24/7 for load and vital processes. In an event that something does go wrong we are notified immediately via pagers and e-mail.

Data Center Design
All power is delivered continually and consistently via our UPS system. This system regulates the flow of electricity by conditioning all power and delivering it at constant levels. This allows for maximum uptime and enhanced server performance (Without conditioning, electricity coming into the data center would be subject to power surges. This causes electricity to enter your servers at a range of 115 volts to 122 volts. This continued fluctuation in electric power would decrease the life of our servers.) Our UPS system is backed up by a diesel generator. The diesel generator is tested for reliability every month and is capable of producing enough power to maintain the data center for weeks.
With 26 Tons of Redundant AC ventilation and cooling units we can maintain the room temperature and humidity inside the data center at ideal constant conditions. The relative humidity remains between 30-45% while the temperature remains between 68-71°F. As you can see by our graph below we can monitor our current network room temperature every 5 minutes.
Owning our own data center allows us to provide you with unmatched reliability and uptime. Since we are not dependent upon on other companies to provide us with the critical services needed to reliably and efficiently run your website or web applications we can aoffer an array of services that our competition cannot match.
In Case of Disaster
All our servers run on multiple hard drives and each of the servers are configured with at least 3 drives at all times. This type of setup has proven itself during a disaster recovery with just minutes to recover lost data instead of hours with a traditional tape backup. Each server is backed up twice a day, one mirroring drive and one long term drive.
A 85 kilo Watt diesel generator provides more than enough energy to power the entire complex in the event of a black out. We test the generator once a month and allow to run for more than 30 minutes at a time during the testing phase.
