Company History

Same Day Web Inc. was the initial off shoot of a local computer company in Indianapolis, first incorporated as CRPLUS, which was formed in 1996 by John Morrison. Aaron Springer, hired in 1999, was the Director of Web Development for the fledgling startup, which had in its short life already worked with some major clients in the Indianapolis area and elsewhere.
Samuel V. Moshe had incorporated as Moses Designs in 1998 and was hired on as the Director of IT Services with CRPLUS-Same Day Web Inc. in June 1999. Webnavix was formed in September 1999, and was originally branded as a Web Design and SEO/SEP service company. The company was the first in the country to offer a full service leasing solution to medium sized businesses that included a website, leased Windows based computers, and an Internet connection for one price. This initiative was the brainchild of Morrison and Moshe and called on Tap. Additionally, Webnavix was the first company in the country to develop technology that made guaranteeing search engine placement possible.

By July 2001, CRPLUS-Webnavix was rated the 12th largest full service Web Design company in the US and the second largest Full Service Web Design company in Indiana by Industry Standard magazine; second to Eviciti based in Indianapolis, who serviced larger cliental.

Sam rolled Moses Designs into the company in August 2001. However, due to a unsteady market and unforeseen post September 11th events, CRPLUS and several of its clients folded. Due to a domain name oversight, both the SameDayWeb.com and Webnavix.com domain names were lost to cyber squatters. Aaron and Sam re-incorporated the company as Genius Data Systems in January 2002, seeking to continue moving the company agenda forward.

In August 2002, Genius Data Systems acquired assets including portfolio and intellectual property rights from Eviciti and over a dozen similar dot com era Web Development companies in North America.

In January 2004 Genius Data Systems was dissolved and assets were sold to TheSirus Holdings. TheSirus Holdings was able to reacquire the Webnavix.com domain name and spun Webnavix LLC off as a wholly owned subsidiary under the Genius Data Systems management organization.

In 2008, Webnavix LLC was re-incorporated as Webnavix Inc. in Kansas.

Today, Webnavix Inc is a full service Web Design and Software Implementation company serving premium clients of all sizes with a central office in Overland Park, KS.
